Diver Dan LLC was founded in the Summer of 2023 by Dan Julian and Mike Vena. Diver Dan and Mike just wrapped up a fishing trip and were coming back into harbor and couldn’t help but notice just how overgrown with filth all the boat bottoms were. ‘Why isn’t anyone scrubbing these bottoms? They could make a killing!’ Diver Dan thought aloud to himself. Then it all clicked. The dark and murky waters of Long Island Sound were keeping people out of the boat scrubbing business. You know who loves dark, murky waters and manual labor? Diver Dan. He shared this idea with his friend Mike who immediately partnered with him, and together they began their boat scrubbing adventure.
